    Help ID'ing a Roof Rack?

OK, so in this huge parts lot I am going through, I found a roof rack. I *think* it is a 911/912 rack, but not 100%. Unfortunately, the only car at hand was one with nicer, newer paint that I didn't want to hurt, so I took some photos with measurements. It *seemed* to have the right angles on the feet, and be just a touch wide, but again, I know I need to put some more rubber on the feet and try it on a less nice car to make sure.

Just wondered if anyone might know for sure at a glance, etc.

Thanks, as always for the knowledge and help.

    Greg

It is a cool rack, but is by no means, a factory Leitz rack. It isn't a AMCO rack either. Just find a 911 or 912 parked somewhere and try it on the car. Hopefully the owner won't show up while you are conducting your experiment. I do have a POS 912 Coupe in the shop at the moment and you would be welcome to try the rack on it. You would get a fresh brewed cup of "Max's Blend" coffee and a doughnut or 2 if you did it tomorrow morning.

    Regards

    Jim

Ended up being a 356 rack! Interested the 911 roof is narrower.
