A new record, 21 cars in one swoop!

It was a long week, but well worth it, me and the dueling John Lakes, (John Jr. and John III) humped 21 cars onto trailers, most of them 356's with flat tires and locked up brakes, but there were also a solid contingent of 9 series cars. We loaded the last one this afternoon. Next stop the Stoddard Swap Meet, hope to see everyone there in the morning!

How many of these 21 will have a future life ?

As in : remaining whole and going on to a better life in the coming months and years ?

Mr Green Jeans, unlike many of my friends in this business who will go un-named, cough cough Jim at EASY, who have scrapped rare and wonderful Porsches like a 356 Carrera 4-cam car, I have never scrapped a Porsche. When the market fell apart in 2007-2008 rather than part cars and scrap them we shoved them all in the back of the warehouse and waited for a better day, which in the 911 market has arrived, so we are pulling those cars back out and taking the pigs to market.
Many of the 21 I just pulled are to quote my cousin Weldon, "Rougher than a 3rd night in jail", so they will get pushed to the back of the line until the world will appreciate them better, but none will be scrapped. Our old warehouse in Gloversville is like the minor leagues where cars go and wait to be called back up to the majors.
