Wasn't that car's engine non-matching when AASE sold it? Did the new owner locate the correct case?

That car sold recently on eBay for $150k. Aase had some trouble selling this car for whatever reason. The engine is not matching numbers, this car has a 1969 case in it with 2.2S parts. Quick flipper with no concern about outright lying, common these days - call them out if they are lying. I would guess if someone had the right case and mated it with the car they could not do it in such a short time and I am sure the price would be much higher.

If someone had the case it's a one week process to build a new motor.

It's definitely the asking price that exposes the potential fraud going on here.

If the stars are aligned and everything is going your way it could be possible to switch a case out in a week. Although I would not trust that quick of a job because there is always a problem somewhere when dealing with equipment this old. It always takes me a while to get the right work done on a motor and check everything but what do I know I have never had a motor come back. Like warrantying a 993 motor over and over again in a blue tip cab, not worth the mistakes (inside joke).

Isn't the Hemmings ad referenced in post #1 simply an AASE ad ?
It says car location Galena, OH which is where AASE is...correct ?
And the last AASE ad quoted $169k same price as the Hemmings ad
Someone correct me if I am wrong but isn't this AASE just listing the car in Hemmings ?
