    Safety Harness

could someone who has either a 5 or 6 point harness in a '69 911 post a pic? Looking for applications and mounting ideas. Not sure i want to modify the seats for the 5 point set up and thinking maybe the 6 point will solve that issue

    My Inspiration

    '86 44 Turbo, black/red,7's and 8's fuchs, autothority - sold (rocketship)
'97 Boxster, first delivered in DC Metro, silver/red -sold (huge mistake to buy this one)
'99 C2, silver/black, RoW M030, limited lip, short shift - sold (good ride, but...)

    '69 912, 3.2 with all the trimmings
    (finally got air cooled)

Not sure what 6 point would do/require that 5 point doesn't. There's one belt coming straight up to the hardware in one case, and two belts in the other. Either way you need a hole or slot thru the center of the seat.

You absolutely have to modify the seat. Running the belt over the top means you'll submarine in a crash.

The stock Porsche configuration is much safer than what you want to do.

Don't forget that Dale Ernhardt died from an improper belt installation. This stuff is serious.
