I like the look the snow tires give this rusty 'barn find'.

    Seller's Description:

    - Recently Discovered in Maine
    - Highly Desirable Early "Wood Dash" SWB 911
    - Excellent Numbers-Matching Example for Restoration
    - Offered With Kardex and Porsche Certificate of Authenticity
    - Originally Factory Finished in Irish Green over Black Leatherette
    - Includes Owner's Manual, Tool Roll, Jack & Date-Coded Wheels

Purchased new by Dr. Andrew McKee of Brighton, Massachusetts on October 28, 1966 wearing the lesser seen and attractive Irish Green over Black leatherette. This 911 eventually made its way to Maine where it was used as a driver in the summer and probably as a snow plow in the winters. At some point the car was painted blue directly over the original Irish Green factory paint, which can now be seen in several areas where the blue paint has chipped away. Today this charming 911 is fresh out of long-term ownership and storage and makes for an excellent restoration project. Still wearing its 1974 Maine license plates (with the last registration expiring in 1981), 304068 is available for purchase for the first time in several decades.

Confirmed by a copy of the original purchase invoice, this 911 is equipped with its original numbers-matching engine (that turns freely by hand), as well as its original upholstery, date coded wheels, Owner's Manual, toolkit, and jack. A closer inspection of the car reveals the Porsche retains the majority of its factory components and remains exceptionally original, including the glass. The 1964/5/6 "Wood Dash" 911's have a great appreciation from enthusiast for their beauty and simplicity, here is an honest example ideally suited for restoration.

How realistic is the asking price, what do you feel it's worth?

For a car that needs everything, I think it's about $40k too high (maybe more).
