    67 S Details

Curious for opinions on the following for 67S:

    1. Deck lid receiver and bolts original and correct color?
    2. Deck lid hinge bolts color?
    3. Front Hood hinge bolts color?
    4. Front Hood receiver and bolts color?

I have spoken with a couple of the best experts on SWB CARS and am getting conflicting opinions.
Curious what the experts here think.
    Thanks so much.

Well for what its worth,,,,,,latches and bolts clear zinc, except for spring (yellow zinc) and spring cup which can't be plated. I think the hood hinge bolts were clear zinc, usually painted black when the hinges were brush painted. Mr Straub,,,pictures please!

Thanks again Ed. Also spoke with Eric and Bob Fleming on this. Interesting that they had slightly different opinions.
Is the Reisinger 67S still the gold standard? It is a 15 year old restoration and some say there are better examples that have been completed in recent years.

I think the gold standard should be John Straub's unrestored car.
