I thought Zenith carbs weren't introduced until 1970. There are also different left-side manifolds for Sportmatic-equipped cars.

No sportomatic and I may be wrong but 66-67 were the manifolds I need. Anyone help with fact check?

I'm not an expert on long wheelbase cars and 911Ts, but I'm dead certain that in 1966 & 1967, the 911 and 911S were the only six cylinder cars and they had either Solex or Weber carburetors with the switch from Solex to Weber in February 1966.

There's some good news: the downloadable parts catalogs (http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessori...artscatalogue/) show only a single version of Zenith manifolds (assuming you don't have Sportmatic):

Part number Description Remark Qty Model
901.108.039.04 INTAKE MANIFOLD COMPLETE NOT FOR SPORTOMATIC /L 1
    905.108.031.04 INTAKE MANIFOLD COMPLETE /L 1 SPM
    901.108.040.13 INTAKE MANIFOLD COMPLETE /R 1

The red one is the Sportmatic-only left manifold.

The manifolds you are looking for were used from mid 66 to72. Webber and Zeniths have the same mounting dimensions therefore the are totaly interchangable. The only difference was in cyl head side to mach the port size. The US emission Laws killed the carburator era. They had different metal composition from sand cast aluminum to pressure cast magnesium. They were used for sporto with vacuum ports on side. I have a few of both . Have seen them on ebay as well. Regards Frankie.
