New fuchs- any body purchased these

I am thinking about buying a set of the newly available 9 x 15 fuchs wheels- any body here have any comments on these.

    Yes, quite a few.
They are similar to the very last evolution of the 8X15s.
Except for the outer offset machining is deeper...and sharper.
The finish is generally pretty good. A little worse than the 7&8X15s but way better than the 16s.
I have some more detailed photos but I can't find them now....
You can barely see the deep/sharp outer machining in the end of the spoke to the right of the bottom.
It is almost 5mm deeper than the original 9X15s.
Overall a good wheel and value. IMHO

Are the new version cast or forged?

I bought a set of the Zuffenhaus wheels for our '86 Targa hotrod project. They use Harvey to finish (in the RSR option at least). Very, very nice wheels. LOOOONG wait time and pricey, but worth it IMHO.Name: image.jpg

Hi Phil, like Harvey we have also bought quite a few sets of these now, plus the 8s. They are forged as they were original. The finish under the black paint is pretty poor, so if you wanted to back date the appearance they will need polishing first. We have done this to frosted finished, polished petals etc and the results like Harvey said are very good value when you consider the cost of an original pair.
    In case a pic helps?

Thanks everyone- I am considering a set of 9 x 15's for the rear of my 76 turbo that is currently being restored- sounds like if I want them to match the fronts I'd need to buy new front wheels as well.

As you can see from my photo, the new 8s aren't really a match.....
