    Distributor stuck in the case

OK, so what is the best way to extract a Marelli distributor, that is stuck, from the case?

    Ted,

Clamp is loose and 8mm nut is removed, right?
Spray penetrating oil at the base and pull/rotate back and forth like you're trying to wrestle your way out of a plastic bag.

If that doesn't work get the slide hammer out. Keep in mind it's a Marelli we're talking about here; it probably needs to be thrown away when you finally get it out.
