Thumbs up New elephant at the Blackhawk ....

Went up to Northern CA. two weeks ago for a wedding and had some time to stop at the Blackhawk Auto Museum in Danville.

They had just put in a new full size (or may be bigger) bronze elephant sculpture in front of their museum..... you really can't miss it....

    Thumbs up

Ending with the only 3 Alfa B.A.T.'s in the world................ 5,7,9

When I was an 18 year old kid (1967) I would visit BAT #7 (the blue one) as an old beat up primered car in a working class suburban garage in Van Nuys CA.

    ... and so it goes

Haven't been there in about 10 years. Pretty spectacular displays --- still . . .

I've heard about the Blackhawk Collection but never been. Is it a private collection or a public museum? I see they sell cars on their website. Are these from the collection itself or is this just a sideline?
