SCRS at the Monaco Grand Prix

I am interested about info and idealy photos from the 1987 Monaco Grand Prix support race. Jurgen Barth piloted an Almeras fielded car in a touring car race, from what I can understand ultimately finishing in 6th place amongst more powerful cars like Turbos. Would be fantastic to know what the starting field was made up of and any other info.

It's one of the few, if only circuit races that the SCRS did, being mostly known for Group B rallying. But if any one knows about other circuit race history for the SCRS I would love to hear about it as I have a big interest. Having recently competed with my FIA HTP SCRS (recreation using a factory 1984 turbolook and a period Rothmans team ex-works engine) at the Nurburgring 24 Classic any period inspiration would be great.

Sure thing, here's a few pics from the race.

Thanks for the tip about the thread, I'm an avid follower of it and other SCRS related threads on the forum. I like to think I'm decently read up on the road car and the rallying but there isn't a whole lot of info on how it was used as a GT (group B actually being both a rally and circuit regulation) so hopefully there is someone out there that can help this thread shed some light on the matter.

The most famous circuit race in which a SCRS ran was certainly the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1984.

Raymond Touroul entered a non-factory car homologated as a SCRS:

The pictures are wrong on this page but the bottom text is quite interesting:
In short, the car was used on the chassis number 006 8894A (Porsche motorsport chassis in white number) using parts provided by the factory.

This is the last 911 raced in Le Mans, and that is why it had "911, la fin d'une époque" on the front hood. This means "911, the end of an area".

    How was your race?
