No longer enthusiast cars at this price point. Maintenant c'est un objet d'art!

How much did the color black add to the price?
    Any premium for RHD?

Nitpicking, but for 600k, justified. No headrests and wrong hood badge? Very nice car though. Nick's RS must be invaluable, and he still drives it!

For 600 large you would think they could have sourced the correct heater hoses and clamps... and put a clamp on the flapper box sleeve.

Also, where the heck is that MFI pump thermostat hose going to?

Oh, one more: Oil temp sender wire hold down clamp mounted in the wrong place.

I agree David, for that kind of money I would expect world class perfection.

Perhaps somebody missed the prior thread on this car. Prior owner was said to be acknowledged "father of pop art". Provenance! Some people denigrated his reputation, but seemed to be recognized in Europe. As an artist, he had his own idea of good design and prior write up said he acknowledged beauty of 911 design. Looks like he redid seats to eliminate head rests. Those of us elder members remember when cars did not have headrests. If you note most cars before '65 had no headrests and the tops of the seats were even with the tops of the doors. Head rests were offered as an optional extra after there were some early studies involving "whip lash". But you didn't see design studios like Pininfarina adding them until mandated by US Government. We saw the roll headrests on the strips that were screwed on from the back, but they were optional and usually added by guys who had to have all the optional features Porsche could push by way of sales. Can you name an uglier seat than the one piece high backs that Porsche offered next? I for one applaud Mr. Hamilton's aesthetic decision as being in keeping with the original 911/912 design.
