FS: SWB U.S. Headlights with H4's

    ** SOLD **

These headlights give you H4 performance while retaining originality of your U.S. SWB. As you know, H4's were not introduced until the early 70's, long after the SWB cars were made. I really like H4's but they have never looked right to me on the early cars, especially U.S. cars. These lights were built using original correct Hella buckets with a sealed beam insert made by Auteroche, a French manufacturer. They have been built as follows:

    • Original Hella buckets have been bead blasted and painted with VHT paint
    • Auteroche 7" sealed beam replacement, not NIB but they look new
    • New replacement Hella SB19 lenses with new gaskets
    • New high quality chrome plated brass trim rings
    • New correct adjustment screws
    • New H4 bulbs
    • Correct fender mounting screws and mounting gaskets

These are really cool - you will be the only kid on the block to have them.

    Price: $950.00 plus shipping

    Cheers,
    John

Thank you Michael, I enjoyed working with you.

This crowd is leading me down the path of temptation. For some reason, the various 7" sealed beam inserts that accommodate halogen bulbs - Auteroche, Cibie, Hella, Marchal Amplilux, etc. - fascinate me and I'm tempted to start collecting them. If these don't sell that might just push me down the slippery slope. About as arcane a collection as you could get.

    Cheers,
    John
