I believe Glacier Blue is in fact the color. The owner, Lee, also has a sweet 3.0 liter motor with MFI set up in this car.

The color of the 1973 911 is Glacier Blue. It is a repaint that was done in the early 80's so it is always difficult to know if the shade is true to the original. Glacier Blue was first offered in MY 1970 as a "Special Coachwork Colour" and was phased out at the end of MY 1973. Mexico Blue which is similar appears to my eye to be a slightly softer blue than Glacier and was a "Standard Coachwork Colour" starting with MY 1974 and ending one year later in MY 1975. Porsche has had so many blues through all the years that it seems some that were the same just got different names depending on the MY years.

    Glacier Blue.
I agree, first offered for MY1970 as Special Colour.
(Mexico Blue was MY1974 and later.)

What Lee failed to tell you is that it is his car.
The color is nice but the real attention is the sleeper motor
(Another one of his neat cars that he refers to as drivers)
