73 - headlamp connector wiring question...

The three wires entering into the headlamp bucket (yellow, white, brown) no longer had the plastic three-prong connector attached, but I found one that had been marked by the previous owner to identify which wire/color went where. Looking at the wiring diagram, I am suspect that it his marking was correct so I would appreciate confirmation of the orientation of the three wires into plastic three prong connector that then attaches to the lamp. The wiring diagram seems to indicate the brown wire feeds to the top/center/horizontal terminal; the white wire to the outside vertical terminal, and the yellow wire to the inside vertical terminal. Since the regular sealed beams that I am using don't have a 'left and right' orientation, I am guessing that white and yellow wire fitting is interchangeable, but the brown/ground location is critical. Hope I've not confused the audience with this description/question. Thank you all.

mac73S- Correct .... in the attached you can trace the white/yellow to the fuse block. Reference whether it is a high or low bean by the number of the fuse (its location on the block). The fuse chart is located in your owner's manual.

Haasman - thank you for your reply, and it is indeed the same wiring diagram I was referencing so I'll proceed in that order. Thank you!
