Front Slam Panel (Lock Panel) Installation Help Please

I am about to install a new slam panel into my 1967 911S I want to ensure the measurements are correct and the panel gaps will be correct when the wings and hood are fitted.

    I have drawing for reference.

Is it a case of clamp up and fit hood and wings and go for the best or it there a technical solution or knack I am missing.

    All help greatly appreciated.

    Ray

Having done this to my car during its resto I can only tell you what I did.

Fit up the hood, and get the gaps at the scuttle right. There really isn't that much adjustment in the front hood latch. Then fit up your fenders.......

    Hope that helps.
