    John Greenwood passes.

One of the legendary figures in sportscar racing passed away on the 7th. John Greenwood, the builder and racer of some of the wildest Corvettes ever built, will be missed. His battles with Porsche and BMW during the glory years of IMSA were unmatched and his Batmobile Corvette is still the fastest car to ever race the Daytona banking at over 234 MPH.
He won SCCA and IMSA titles among other accomplishments-including pioneering the wide body cars. RIP Big John.
