    Switch question

Is the headlamp switch designed to illuminate in the on position like the auxiliary light switch and the rear window heater switch?
    Cheers!

mine (73 model) doesn't and I don't think I have seen one that does. There is a two part pull, side lights and main, but the tell tail to show that it is working is the green light in the speedo(?) gauge to show on first pull that lights are on. The other action is he twist for dash light intensity.

Thanks Hugh. I finally got my car's other switchs' illumination capability operational, and thought it odd that the headlamp switch wasn't designed to do the same.

They do not have a light rod and don't have the center bulb socket as I recall. Just a solid threaded shaft for the knob.
