    Auction Description:

    - Matching-numbers example
    - Fully restored by marque experts; striking color combination
    - Includes Porsche Certificate of Authenticity

This stunning example is believed to have been sold new in Germany, and it later made its way to Japan. It was then returned to Europe, where it received a thorough, bare-metal restoration at Autoreiter KG, in Vienna, Austria. The work reportedly consumed some 1,900 man-hours to complete. A few years ago, chassis number 600447 was sold to a Canadian marque specialist, who completed some additional detailing.

This car is finished as original, per its factory Certificate of Authenticity, in fresh N8 Lime Green paint and black Carrera graphics. Notably, the original black leatherette interior remains in superb condition and was not replaced during the restoration. The Carrera also retains its original Blaupunkt Bamberg stereo cassette player with upgraded speakers, along with a rear window wiper and tinted glass. Additionally, it is supplied with a correct collapsible spare tire, air compressor, complete tool kit, and owner’s manual.

Carrera 2.7 MFIs come to market only rarely; here is an opportunity for the serious Porsche collector to acquire one of the finest examples in the world, in a striking color combination no less.

Black leatherette didn't exist in 1974.
MY74 have darkblue leatherette.....maybe it's only an error in the description.

How can a "marque expert" restore a car like this and didn't paint in black the interior door frame???

    It's all about the details.....

BTW nice car....Let's see how much will be the final price

The colour is superb, my favourite on any 74 carrera. The leatherette seems correct, despite the description.

I'm not convinced by the "matching numbers" claim. This one doesn't seem an original engine number font to me

Yes....it's not very good that number

Also the steering wheel for me it's not the Real specific of 2.7Carrera.
It looks like a 3.0/3.2 sport steering.
2.7carrera pad is in a higher position than 3.0/3.2

Didn't the font change in '74?

I certainly do not profess to be knowledgable about cars with impact bumpers, so seeking to understand; not arguing with those who may be knowledgable on such models.

Out of curiosity I got my official Porsche Cars Great Britain Price List Model Year 1974 from my car's history file in front of me...

(I'm not quite sure why I have ended up with this '74 MY GB price list since, as stated, my interest is in the pre-impact bumper cars but probably in file by mistake because it is dated 9/73)

... anyhow, this original PCGB document says:

"M446 Chrome window frames and door handles".... (In table format: check mark "x" is against this row / column intersection for the Carrera)....

    Footnote says:
"X= Factory option included on British model" ...(reading the blurb further, chrome windows/ handles was standard equipment for GB market, it seems)

    My questions:
Were there country market standard equipment variations of this black vs chrome window trim/ handle in other regions, such as where this one was originally purchased ?
Were black window versions finished by factory in paint or some other finish?
