That's great Frank. I wish I was up there. Unfortunately, other commitments are preventing me from entering the major appliance in the B Sedan run group. And as I understand it, there are so many B Sedan cars (510s) that it is like shopping at Sears. Some pretty fast ones too, from California I hear. It's killing me not to be there...

    I love IT !

I saw that same set up Frank, shortly after speaking with you at your rig ! Great stuff. These folks are doing it up 'old school'. It IS all about the love for this great little car !

I'll post a few photos I took myself, and maybe a short video of Frank on track with his 914 - 6. Gotta get them unpacked and downloaded first.

By the way, Frank plays serious game. Anyone thinking this guy doesn't show up with his priorities set straight, is in for some serious whoopin'.

Saturday he leads the field and by the time things are said and done, he has nearly put a lap on everyone in his group. That's a 4 (! ! !) mile lap. A Seriously fast car.

Way to go Frank ! I didn't get to stay for the final race on Sunday, but fill us in on how it ended up .....

Hats off to friend Candyce also, who won her class in the Concours on Saturday night, downtown Elkhart Lake. And to Bruce Boeder in his orange #3 longhood who also competed hard and looked strong. (As I said, I had to leave a bit early, so missed that final race as well)
---more photos later of all !

He won. Nice Frank! Turning :33s. Fun to follow on Race Monitor App. My sister came in fourth in a 69S having a best lap of :35. I think P2 through P4 were all pretty close.

Missed you out there Scott. Yes, Group 2 definitely looked like Sears was having a sale. The major appliances from Cal killed it. Me thinks those guys should be in Group 8 next year; very quick 510's.

mrgreenjeans and I had a GREAT chin wag. Candyce as well was a delight; confirmed to her in person how much I detest Sepia. (Don't confuse my phecal phobia with not absolutely loving her car!)
Always nice to get personal with members of the forum and find out what makes them tick.

Gotta share this: Yesterday morning in the Cup Car I'm chasing a Trans Am Mustang and I see a puff of smoke and something shoots out the back and hits my hood after a big bounce.

Found out later what it was...

what was left of a connecting rod.

    Fun weekend.

Some random shots from the race car concours on Saturday. The crush of spectators was amazing!
