    Chicken Salad

A friend picked this up yesterday. What he got is a rust-free straight S/R chassis TANGERINE "short" hood with a clean title. It is a roller BUT the harness, most of the gauges (no clock no speedo) and suspension are intact. He already has a running motor and working 915 tranny from an SC project. While it appears that "tweakers" attacked it, being rust-free and straight is a home run for a back-date project. A prime example of what to use as your palette if you don't want to break the bank buying a pre-'74 (potential) rust bucket. This one has nothing to hide.

I'm calling it "Chicken Salad" because a lot of mayonnaise will be needed.

There is an old saying whereby someone with special skills is supposed to be able to make Chicken Salad from Chicken Sh#$.

A clever/handy mechanic has often been accused of such a deed.

How do you make Chicken Salad from Chicken Sh#$?

    "Use more mayonnaise".

I'm working on the parts list now which includes a very large container of Kraft, Hellmann's or since I'm from the south; DUKE'S!

Sithot - I'm from SC but frankly don't care for Dukes. To my untrained palate, Hellmans tastes better. Those on the left coast call it Best Foods.
