The information that I have seen showed:
    Front 6X15 901 361 012 03 with 3mm spacer
    Rear 7X15 901 361 012 05 with 21mm spacer
I have seen at least 2 cars with the 7s on the front and rear but I can't find any evidence that they were delivered that way.
Maybe Ernie will chime in....he is the expert.

    911R wheels

Hi Harvey, thanks for the compliment. Both my parts list and drivers manual for the 911R list the wheel size as, 6.00 J x 15 for the front (3), and 7.00 J x 15 for the rear (2). Same part numbers as Harvey posted. Also some period photos of the R in competition show un-painted wheels.

I do remember a reference to "unvarnished" wheels. Some lists call for "unfinished or unpolished" wheels but they were translated wrong IMHO.
The "Press" photos of the Rs showed painted wheels. When I asked about the unpainted wheels, I was told that the car should look like a production car so no "unvarnished" wheels.
The race dept had replacement wheels that were unpainted well into the 70s.......
