    LWB Front Fender Conversion

Can a 74+ Driver-side front fender be modified to fit a LWB car? If so, how extensive is the modification? The LWB cars have the turn signal mount as part of the front fender, but I don't know if this mount is available separately or not. Any other differences?

    Thanks in advance.

There's some fabrication on top welding the signal mount but this is done on a regular basis. A new LWB fender is about $1200 bucks, the signal mount is about $100-300 plus the labor to weld and fab.

    NTW,

Thanks for the info. I thought someone was manufacturing the signal box so it could be added to a 74+ fender, but I could not find any info on this.

I did mine myself, cut off the turn box's from my original 70 fenders (that where very rusty) and grafted them on to some from a 76. Not hard, just take the time to get everything lined up the best you can.
