    Restoration of PORSCHE letters

Hey Guys....Are these repeated with gold as some early 356 scripts or what is the process to achieve the shiny gold finish to dull and scratched letters. Can someone recommend a service to provide this work
    Thanks for assistance

When we bought our Sequoia a few years back, there was a guy the dealer recommended, that came to us and gold anodized all the emblems with them on the car. I'd call a local new car dealership, like Toyota and talk to a sales guy. I'll bet someone in your area does it and would do it pretty cheap, if it's possible. I live in a town of less than 50,000 in the midwest and we had a guy local.

I generally find it is cheaper to buy replacements. But you could try King of Trim

I bought the genuine Porsche letters and they were awful.....very dull satin finish.
I also had bought a new gold 911T and it was great...very gold and lotsa luster.
I returned the letters. I have heard form Others the same comments on poor quality .
I am sourcing repeaters who do gold anodizing and will update for those needing their letters refinished
    Thanks for thoughts

Stay away from the gold plating service on the car as found at dealers. It looks very good for about 2 years and then begins to wash out, eventually looking quite dreadful.

Or buy one with slight patina but seemingly in good condition (not mine) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Porsche-9...item25ab477383

There was a thread about this recently.
I have never found an anodizer that could come close so let us know what you find...
The closest I have seen was Gold plating....
