    Need 1 Deep 6 12/70

    Hey Guys
    Just found great set (4) for my 71 mfg (12/70)
    Just need the spare to matchup 6J 15

    If you really want to be as close to factory original as possible, you could pick a dated wheel of 10/70 or 11/70 for your spare. According to Mr. Weidman, the spare was normally pulled from a different pallet than the wheels that went on the car resulting in a spare that was frequently dated different than the wheels on the car.

    Harvey is best to answer that but I'm surmising that the spare was installed at a different time in a different part of the plant. Whoever did the spares would have only gone through 1/4 of the wheels and had his own supply.
