    911L 1968 questions

    Hi
I hope someone can help me with a few questions about my 911L
    1) is it possible for a 911L to have a voltmeter installed original. Or is it aftermarket? ( see Photo)
    2) is the spare wheel correct for a 911L
    3) in my dash der is room for 2 other buttons (besides the hazard warning) what is missing?
If anybody has a Picture of og there original 911L dash i would much appreciate it.
    Thanks

    i. the volt meter is aftermarket and added by a previous owner
    2. the spare should be the same as the 4 wheels on the car.
    3. You aren't missing anything. The other two "buttons" are just plugs for holes in the dash of other accessories that your is not equipped with (such as driving lights, heated back glass, fresh air blower {your car should have that, though}, etc)
your radio is not "period correct" either.

    Regards

    Jim

If it is a USA L, then I think they came with 5.5X15 Fuchs?
Can't say about the ROW L.

    Thank you Jim and Harvey.

I guess I have to get the COA to know what options my car was born with. I know that the radio is not period correct for the car, so if anybody knows which model the var came with originally; please let me know.

    Thanks again

speaking from the standpoint of my USA normal...

Spare could be correct. My normal has chromed steelies, but the spare is silver painted (5 1/2 Fuchs would be optional). Above the radio, in additional to the hazard flasher, I have the switch for the fog lights (I believe standard in the US) and for the fan (which I would also assume was also standard, and this just recycled cabin air, it did not pull in additional outside air).
