"Rookie Seller" I wish you luck - as I am sure you did your due diligence prior to coming up with your sale price - on the surface it could be below market anywhere from 50 to 100%

you know I take that back - it appears there is a disconnect between sellers and buyers now based on recent high-profile auctions and results. If you need to sell now your $50k might be spot on give or take 10-20%

While not a market expert by any means, based on Hagerty's latest valuation tools and some recent auction results it looks like $50,000 is a fair price for this car given current pricing trends. Right now a clean 1971 T Coupe driver falls somewhere between a #4 and a #3 category car and that price range is around $50,000 give or a take a little. It seems the nice fairly clean drivers are starting to taper off in price while the top notch cars are still climbing in price as indicated by the valuation tool on Hagerty's website. Obviously there are still 70/71T Coupe cars that fall in line with the driver category that have significantly higher asking prices on them but it appears the market has thawed and those cars are probably over priced at this point in time (along with a large number of overpriced "project" cars as well).

FWIW, I've got a '71T in very similar condition and I would think $50,000 would be a good value for it if I was selling. Either, way, very nice car and GLWS.

Folks, thanks for the comments, I appreciate your input. Mike, it's not the original engine case.
