Problem with headlight bucket repair parts?

Wondering if this is how they're all made now, or if this is a bad part? Check out the pic below of a bucket from Restoration Design. There's no curved lip -- the bucket just ends in a flat edge. Seems like that can't be right.

Also, does anyone know if it's possible to get buckets specifically for early cars, or are we now stuck with the generic "headlight bucket 1969-86" that actually doesn't look (or fit) much like the correct buckets for early cars? I've searched and searched and can't find a good answer on this.

Here's a closeup of the flat lip on the Restoration Design buckets I received...

Just thinking out loud...did you call RD for any advice?

I did speak to RD on Monday, and the buckets are made by Dansk, and RD was forthright about the poor quality and fit of many Dansk parts -- so much so that they're looking at making the buckets (among other parts) themselves. I found a pair through Stoddard that are apparently non-Dansk. Hopefully they'll be usable...
