FS: 1968 rear view mirror (BMW) - SOLD

First, this is a very close mirror as the original Porsche mirror. This one is from a BMW though. Although the mirror is nearly identical, the stalk is slight different. Only those in the know would be able to discern the difference. Overall it is in very nice condition. Asking $50- SOLD

the base is too square shape. BTW my mirror came with the stock in chrome finish. Maybe because the car is 911L Euro spec. Kinda like a lot of Euro spec 911S's came with the "911S" script came in chrome instead of gold. I know of 2 or 3 cars with this configuration. Chris

just curious... will this mirror fit into the '68 Porsche breakaway housing?

i know it looks very much the same, but that breakaway housing is kind of critical.
