    Torque converter oil pump

    Hello Andrea,
The workshop manual has info, see page SE 17, it says oil flow rate through the torque converter is approx. 3 liters (3.2 US qts. per minute at the maximum pressure of approx. 4 atmospheres (29 psi). The Sportomatic oil circuit is given on pages, SR 48/49. It also gives a caution, if the engine is started while out of the car, connect the Sportomatic oil supply pump to an oil container to reestablish oil flow, never permit the oil pump to run dry...hope this helps
