Very nice car. Do I read correctly that the engine was replaced with a correct unit? Non matching numbers?

'. . . Black (1010 colour code), Black leather sports seats, Impact bumpers front and rear.

Supplied by the Porsche Centre in Verona Italy on the 1st December 1972, this stunning 2.4 S completed production in Zuffenhausen a month earlier on the 1st November. Due to its later build, it makes this car a 1973 Porsche build year car. The cars first owner a Mr Raymond Beltramo kept the car in Northern Italy and ownership continued around the Lakes and Milan until 1997. The car was then exported to Detmold in Germany by PS Automobile in the November of 1997, the following Spring the car was purchased from them and import to the UK by Edmund Harris (renowned early 911 specialist.) Mr Harris sold the car to an owner in Bath and has since had one further keeper.

More recently in the cars life it has undergone a full body restoration carried out by Tuthills (2012 £24,000), Engine rebuilt by BS Motorsport in early 2000’s (then known as Winslow Motor Services WMS) the engine was replaced in the mid 1990’s with a correct 2.4 S unit, Servicing and maintenance has been carried out by both Tuthills and Fearnsport since 2011 and the car is presented in outstanding condition ready to be enjoyed by its next keeper.

Supplied with the car is a lovely file documenting the cars history, CD with photos of the body renovation, Invoices for all works, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and Owners manual . . .
