I'm not sure if a Certificate of Authenticity is the same as a Kardex but you can get a COA at 1-800-PORSCHE then select option 3. Have your VIN number and if you mention "Excellence" you will get a $10 discount. This is according to Excellence's Porsche Buyer's Guide.

I can get Kardexes for all Porsches until 1970 for 200 dollar each. Delivered within 2-4 days, paid by Paypal. I have helped many registry guys. Price came down a bit due to better exchange currency for the dollar.
After 1970 it's no longer a document (at least from my source) so it's better to get a COA. Although the COA's are notorious for mistakes, but still a lot less expensive.

Hi Erik
Just to clarify: would that be including MY 1970 cars/LWB?
Thanks - Marcus

just for the records no, its not the same.
The Kardex is a copy of the period factory document connected with the car when it left the factory and until some service period. It usually lists the first dealer as well as its first owner.
The only period document close to it is the AMAG Wagenkarte, available for Swiss Market delivery Porsche cars. (from 1953-until today)
The CoA is a modern info given out by any Porsche Dealer. Lists options and some other details. Nice to have but not a Kardex neither a Wagenkarte.
