FS: '65 right side window regulator

The regulator is dated 3/65, but should fit '66 and earlier (see post #4 in this thread). Pivot pin is fine, and there is very little slop in winder gears. $100/OBO + shipping. Located in VA, 20194.

Techincally, it will fit by drilling 2 holes in your door's inner panel. I wouldn't recommend that, though. Porsche relocated the 4 mounting holes further apart ( like the holes in your 68 door)to reduce stress on the mounting holes. Other wise the 2 regulators are the same.

    Regards

Jim, I'm guessing you have the right one for Ben. Just trying to help a guy out.

Actually, I was just answering his question. I, certainly, don't want to hijack your thread.

Not a problem. I appreciate all the knowledge you bring to the forum and thought you provided good info for Ben. I was only suggesting a source for a more correct part for his application. Sounds like, unless you've got a 64-66 and are a stickler for correctness, you'd probably want to use the newer regulator. So no harm, no foul.

Morning guys - on the other side of the world so just waking up and checking in.

Glad you've sold the part Richard.

Jim, many thanks for the information.

    Ben.
