    Aluminum case engine question

So back in the day (when aluminum cases were a dime a dozen) I used an aluminum case to build a 2.8
engine due to the strength. 901 shop did it and it is/was a great engine. Case # for Reference is 907637 901/05 4502---late 65 I think.
Question is I assume the spigots were bored to fit the 2.8 P&C's so is it possible for this engine block to
be useful as a 2.0 block ever again?

    Yes.

(Actually that would be a '66/'67 I believe.)

Wow thanks for the quick reply Frank.

Re: year I was looking at davep's 901 engine build # chart and it appears the engine was from 10-11/65, but probably came in a 66 car?

Sorry, how can 907637 come in a 65, my own 907316 rolled off on April 1, 1966. Or is it a specific out of sequence case that we have Kardex for?

and it looks like my engine was built between 9 and 11 of 1965, based on davep's chart.
Probably came in a 66 car.
