Ditto. The X was supposed to drop this year, guess we'll have to wait.

they are now saying late Sept. - we shall see

I'm not big on being a first adopter anyway - I've spent too much of my life on the bleeding edge of technology already...

Isn't the 3 coming next March? In any case, though I have no criticism of my Volt, I'll seriously consider this when my lease ends.

rumor is that it will kill the BMW 3 series - those who are high on Tesla believe they have such a technological head-start that no established automotive company can catch them

it will be interesting to see what happens

I'd certainly be interested if I were in the market. Not bad looking and I've heard positive feedback on their current car.

    Alternative Motoring

I've noticed a ton of the Model Ss running around. Very slick-looking --- and stealthy, too . . . the first all-electric vehicle that manages NOT to look like it (thankfully). And considering that they mostly get used/abused as 'runabouts,' I've heard nothing bad about them. S's a bit steep, price-wise --- ~$60k, all-in? . . . so this little Model 3 is more like the kinda car/price that I'd be interested in

    Problem is --- I have a dog, and, so . . .

    . . . there are some very interesting alternatives --- still . . .

    PS Tesla stock = ~$240/ea

3 series wagon handles very well - the extra wt. on the rear helps

why doesn't the dog ride in your Porsche?

I have a p85d. Makes gas powered cars seem weak, noisy and obsolete. Except for old ones.
