Anyone know what CPR is asking for the Mexico Blue 911? I send an email - haven't heard back as of yet

CPR has been pretty bad in getting back by mail. I’ve asked several times about a couple of MFI Carreras and never got an answer. Probably best just to call.

Sorry to see that you have to let the car go - but it is priced very well and should sell quickly. Having just built one of these things, I can say from experience how expensive they get. Good luck!

Thanks guys, family forces a move to Miami, and being on the water won’t fair well for the long hood. Pains me to sell her, but it’s the right thing to do…

I have decided to sell my Hot Rod 70T. I've been thinking of moving on to a new project for some time, but following a skiing accident at the end of Dec (not my fault, but the other guy did't stop to see if I was ok) I won't be able to drive my car for at least another 6 months. As a result, I'd like to sell my car and find a RHD project that might make it easier to change gear with a badly damaged right shoulder.

I originally bought it in 2012 from Munich, Germany, where it had previously lived its entire life. I was living in Poland at the time, so I imported it into Poland, then it came with me to Switzerland when I moved there, and now to the UK, when I relocated again n 2019.

I've spent a small fortune on it, including some extensive (GBP 30k) bodywork around the front end, which was poorly restored by the previous owner, whereas the rest of the bodywork is pretty much faultless. I also swapped the engine, which is based on a 1979 3.0 SC engine and is now a 3.2 short stroke twin plugged beast (although the original matching numbers engine comes with the car too).

I've just had the window frames restored by Nick Moss and the dials restored by Julian Reap. It has a lot of lightweight parts (carbon doors, carbon bonnet, fibreglass front wings and rear bumper, aluminium engine lid (although I also have a matching ducktail for it). It also has RS flares, a lightweight RS interior with a 380mm RS steering wheels. The 8x15 rear wheels and geniune 7R fronts were restored by Art wheels in France. The seats are Scheel S400 Rallye seats, which are period correct and used by Porsche in some rallies (so I have been led to believe). The car was originally BlutOrange / Tangerine, but was resprayed to silver (Porsche 356 colour code 5206) by the previous owner.

I've been documenting my journey here: https://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=59241
Please take a look at all the photos and restoration thread on DDK.

This one is on Bring a Trailer presently. Built by Patrick Motorsports. Looks to have been put together to a pretty high quality level.
