    has anybody seen this speaker net?

    Im stripping my 66 sumroof for paint and I noticed this net tied around the speaker bottom. Has anybody else seen this? Looks factory to me.

    First sunlight in almost 50 years shows the speaker is in a bag of sorts and the crayon dash nr. Aaah.

    My '71T still has its original speaker and there's a cover over the top of it similar to the one you show. It does not fully enclose the speaker like yours but the material appears similar from pictures at least.
