    SWB Rear Caliper Solution...

I thought this may be of interest to the SWB crowd.

We've been working on this for a while now and plan to show these at Rennsport V. The VB911SWB radial mount rear M-Caliper has arrived!

You can bolt big calipers on the front of your SWB 911/912 fairly easily but what about those pesty 2.25" rear control arm mounts? Sure, you can run out and grab a pair of uber rare factory Wide L-Calipers. You'll get the 38mm piston but, you'll still have the smaller D30 pad size and... they sell for $1,599.00 once were finished with them.

The Soultion: Radial mount a a 2.25" adapter to the common 911 rear M-Caliper and simply bolt it on to your SWB control arms. Well, there's a little more too it than that but this kit answers all of those questions. The kit will come complete with:

º A completely restored VB911SWB Radial Mount Caliper including stainless steel pistons and new ATE seal kits throughout.
º A radial mount for 2.25" spacing bolted on to your caliper.
º A pair of new custom hard lines.
º A pair of new bleeders with new beehive caps.

You'll simply un-box these and bolt them over the top of new 944 rotors or, original 67-68 911S rear rotors (yes, we can get them now but, they're $249.00 each!)

We love SWB cars so, it's especially gratifying to have a bolt on performance upgrade that really is tailor made for our SWB friends.

The first "Radial Mount" rear M-Caliper. The entire caliper is stripped to bare metal, machined and re-zinc plated throughout. Only fresh zinc will protect these bores for another 30 years.

    New ATE seals going in.

New stainless steel pistons and reconditioned knockback mechanisms will ensure a lifetime of perfect functionality.

Factory ATE seal kits and square cut o-rings are used throughout.

New pistons finding their way home.

    Perfect fit and finish.

Ready for their radial mount adapters. 10mm spacers for vented rotors.

Finished caliper... I'll update with the adapters once they're back from anodizing.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Rennsport V.

Here's a few pictures with the radial mount adapter...

These will simply bolt on to the rear control arms of a 65-68 911/912

Want to stay solid rotor? No problem, we can build them without the caliper 1/2 spacers and you use your stock rotors.

I'm already running your Brembo front solution on my SWB and vented rear 944 rotors on the rear. Now you've gone and given me another reason to spend money on brakes and the car already stops like it's got an arrestor hook hanging out the back.

    Almost Bill...

In today's "Lord give me patience and give it to me now" Internet era, we wanted to give everyone a preview as soon as we could. We should have a hard price on everything nailed down next week.

Out of the 12 sets, we do have "one" set that's not spoken for though! It seems our focus group was excited about them as well.
