Pictures from the Road to Rennsport (Philly crew, et al)

I figured I would start a fresh thread (easier to find) with our pictures from the trip out to Rennsport V. Mike M along with Dave and Chris R started in Philly, Mike D from Long Island, Alan B from Cincinnati, and Gaby and Lee F (myself) from Baltimore. We all rendezvoused in Louisville, KY on the evening of 9-19. All 5 cars arrived in Monterey on Thursday the 24th. The trip was not without mechanical issues and law enforcement involvement...but everyone rolled in together! Many thanks to everyone who participated for making it such a great trip.

From our home just north of Baltimore, MD it was 3225 miles to Monterey. Coming from Long Island, Mike D had the longest trip. It's a long drive but it's very doable. To anyone contemplating this kind of trip I can only say have good maps, GPS, spares, tools, manuals, and cash. And having a great bunch of folks to do it with sure helps!!

The pictures were shot by Gaby, my wife, and myself. Everything shot "on the fly" was done by Gaby. Please forgive blurs and bug smears!!

Yup...and quite the journey it was. As long of a drive as it was though, it went by fairly quickly. We had some long days for sure... but looking back now it just seems like it flew right by. Hope that makes sense.
