What adhesive for bonding SWB round Porsche emblem to chrome buckle?

    Hello.
I have a couples of SWB chrome buckles with the round Porsche emblems (picture attached) coming loose. What is the appropriate adhesive to bond the round Porsche emblem back onto chrome buckle? Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Anything would be better than the adhesive used originally.

You could try T-88 epoxy, used in homebuilt aircraft, available at Aircraft Spruce. Do NOT use 5-minute epoxy, as it will decompose after awhile.

Why not a dab of clear silicone?

I would scuff up the chrome below the emblem with some heavy grit sand paper and then use any good 2 part epoxy, like Gorilla Glue epoxy but there are several good epoxy adhesives to choose from.

How about a piece of thin, double sided tape.

You don't need a 2 part glue, what are you going into orbit? or heaven forbid a polyurethane that will expand and make the logo stand 1mm proud of the surface. Just use good old Acetic Cyanoacrylate a/k/a super glue or Krazy glue as it was called back in the day: "A plastic knob, a plastic plug, a rubber boot, a metal broche, a fishing rod, a cycle grip, model planes and model trains, a doorknob screw, a flashlight case, the broken trim on any car."

Use a single drop in the center of the emblem.

3m tape, you won't ruin paint underneath if you want to remove it. And IMO never ever any std silicon near the car, makes painting difficult afterwards and it will also rust metal.
