A source for bi-elastic vinyl for dashboards?

    Hello,
I would like to upholster my dashboard with new vinyl and would leike to know where I could get the best « fitting » vinyl for my project. I already found some bi-elastic vinyl, which seems quite good, but it’s too thick and the structure isn’t like the Porsche dashboards.

It would be great, if you could give me some hints, where I could find such vinyl.

Hopefully it's a SWB dash, otherwise you're pissin up a rope.

Contact Autobahn or Auto's International. They'll hook you up.

Just talked to Aase brothers last week and they are offering German Vinyl by the yard. Check with them to see if it is what you need.

Stephan runs the vinyl through the leather splitting machine in order to cut off the woven backing - then it's elastic.
If somebody's interested I'm sure he can bring some to Strähle Swap.

The best vinyl with the right grain is from mah. But it´s no bi-elastic material. This is how it looks on a new covered dash
