!!!! HELP !!! Slam Panel Alignment !!Please!!

I have spent weeks replacing the inner wheel house panels, Gas Tank support and Slam panel but the hood Latch and the Slam Panel receiver are over an inch away

The wings seem to align OK and the Slam Panel looks like it fits OK ??

I have loosened all the adjustment bols on the hood, hinge etc What have I done wrong?

    Please help

Sorry first time uploading pictures, don't know how to rotate them

I had a '65 and the slam panel was much straighter than the later slam panel that is sold as replacement.

I think its the Inner Wheel House Panel replacements from Restoration Design are slightly angled

I attached the new RD panel over the original using the wing bolt holes as datum's and then cut both panels, I can only assume the new panel pressed angles are different!!

You need to show us the hood line from front to back on both sides. Your wheel house panels probably need to come in but it's also not uncommon to have to narrow the factory replacement slam panel to pull everything in for nice gaps. Personally, I would set the hood gap at the cowl and then work forward from there.
