FS: Early SWB Wiper Assembly and Motor

EDIT - Price drop and free shipping!

Early motor and assembly - notice clips on shafts instead of peened rivets, etc. Untested. Removed from 3 gauge 912.

Hey Greg, I may need this. Does anyone know of a place that refurbishes these and rebuilds the motors?

    Thx.

I have had a local (old) shop rewind motors for me in the past. The guy running the place was already pretty old, and that was years ago, but he did Bosch starters and generators and stuff all the time back then. I can try and swing by and ask, unless there's someplace that's known for these someone can suggest?

    free bump with a question...

would the clips be 'earlier' or 'later'? i thought (perhaps wrongly) that the rivets were used and that they switched to clips for improved service.

thanks for any new information. it's still a cool offering.

Just the oposite. Clips came first. They have a tendency to fall off and jam the motor which burns it up. 68s came with the rivets and will interchange with the earlier junk.

Does anyone know what silver paint is used on the mechanism? Is this a Wurth paint? Thanks for any help!
