    Rick,

Saw this one today. Original owner was very nice. A lady who purchased it through Euro delivery. It has 170k on the odometer, and original paint. Check out the license plate too. I saw three e30 M3s today, as I drove my e9 to a BMWCCA outing.

The car that stole the show for me was the e34 touring M5. I had never seen one in the flesh. This one was techno violet, and in very good condition.

The M5 tourings are getting very expensive at the moment.
I am very lucky to have bought mine in 2014 after watching the market and hesistating for 3 years to find the perfect (for me) example - I finally bought one that didn't meet all "must haves" but I bought it for the price of the new engine it got in 2003 years and only ran 7k kms since. Now it has 14k more on the odo. I got rid of all the black kidney, white indicator stuff but kept the tweaked springs PU bushings and Racing dynamics swaybars with stock EDC dampers which give it a very confident ride it's a "throw it in - the car sorts it out" feeling. What I regret a bit was getting rid of the Hartge exhaust (made by supersprint) it was a bit too noisy for my taste taking away the stealth factor of the car. Reverting back to stock exhaust cost really some hp but now I have what I wanted: a fast stealth dog / parts / fun hauler without all that silly 4 tailpipe BS. Just some weeks ago I managed to get a set of the fugly looking 90's M-Style luggage set to make it more complete.
Another Member of this board just bought one last week.

Uh oh... My bad, as I realized the car is actually an e39, right? Same as yours?

Don't want to hijack this thread- sorry Rick.

No, you were right in the first place. E39 is the next generation.

I'd love one in Hennarot with anthracite M-Technic cloth interior, but given the way pricing has gone, I'll likely settle for a 318iS (or even, shockingly, a 325iS with an alloy-block M52b28 swap) if I need to scratch my E30 itch.

Look up "E30 M3 Isle of Man" on YouTube for some heroic driving.
