Here are two pics of Manfred Kremer today, in his treasure cove, so to speak. I took them just yesterday (in front of pics showing his race driver brother Erwin, their driver John Fitzpatrick and Ferry Porsche; with the front hood of their Porsche 956/101 that was driven by Keke Rossberg). Enjoy!

[FONT=Verdana]. . . was lucky enough to buy a perfectly restored rolling chassis of one of those rare ’68/'69 911S beasts (first LWB, MFI, 170hp) . . . . happy to have found a car to round out my little collection . . . . And even happier after finding out that the original owners of my project were none others than the Kremer brothers! . . .

. . . wonder whether any of you can help me find out whether my car had a racing history . . .

. . . second question refers to the parts that came with this car. On top of the original cylinders I have a set of Chromal coated Mahle cylinders that, we suspect, might be for a Porsche 906. Who can I turn to with data, photos & measurements? . . .

Hi again,

Sorry for the protracted silence -- this has been a loooong journey! And when we had put the very finishing touches to my 911S early this year - the Porsche Kremer side decal that Manfred had kindly sponsored - he unexpectedly passed away.

I was lucky enough to meet and befriend Manfred Kremer through my lucky find some 8 years ago. He shared a lot of professional and private memories with me and I am grateful and happy I met him.

Unfortunately, I will have to let go of my '69 911S since me and my family are emigrating to New Zealand, new life, new priorities.

My '69 911S 2.0 is looking for a new owner who appreciates the time and expense that went into this fantastic project. It's on sale at:
