    Door striker (RH)

    After 23 years and countless number of door shutting by me ( and 19 years by prior owners) my click / blinnggg has gone to clunk - which ain't right . Need a steer on the part number in the attached picture - and then where I'd likely get a pair for my knackered old RS. .... Got to be correct .... thanks

    thanks I've just received a replacement old stock item - never really looked at the bolt/screw holding the striker in place - low and behold I don't have anything in my toolkit - advise on tool / size required ?? Jeez amateurs !!

    Hi Nick,

    I think it is M8 torx, ZN. Don't try any other tool, it will strip the head.

    It is 8mm 12 point. Allen. Not Torx

    I got mine from Hazet.
    PS if its yellow , it might have been changed before.
