    Handy book, my copy is well thumbed. Hope buyer presumably you JB21 enjoys it

    Coincidentally I'm meeting with the previous long term owner of the car featured on the front cover on Friday. Very experienced and respected automotive technical journalist and car industry PR man. ( I won't name him here out of respect for his privacy). One of the articles in it is by him about the car however. Coincidence that we just finalised the meeting overnight/ this am , with RS topic firmly on the agenda - and then I saw this picture in your post . No 286 is an early British market M472 RHD. He owned it for 32 years but it was sold in 2012. iirc it had been owned corporately by an oil company initially. Maybe someone on forum owns it now - presumably quite a low owners car?

    Lot going on in UK as it is London Motoring week culminating in the famous London to Brighton veteran car run which as you guys will probably know is the longest-running motoring event in the world. Also the Regent Street car show in heart of London, a new car show organised by Classic & Sportscar Magazine plus many other events, lectures etc many organised by the Royal Automobile Club.
