    correct inner door window felt pinch seal 1968?

    You can tell from the heading that I am pretty much guessing what the correct term is for this part but a picture might help:


    The repro seal shown in the picture above has a lip towards the inside of the car. I can't figure out how this lip will work with the door panel overrider. It doesn't look right either riding on top or squashed towards the overrider.

    The disintegrating seal I pulled off the car was a simple pinch seal with one fuzzy side towards the glass (sorry, no picture of the original seal) and had no lip towards the inside. Hopefully i'll find someone making a correct looking seal.

    Does anyone know someone who supplies the correct seal? Or is the seal I have actually correct for a 1968?

    That's what you get nowadays,,,,just cut off that extra lip.
