M430 Under the Bumper Fog Light Question

My '73 RS came with an option (M430) that I've only seen in photos: 5 inch round fogs mounted under the airdam. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line, they disappeared. I need to either find these mounting brackets, or more likely, get enough info on them to be able to fabricate a set. Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Hi murphyrg,

Sorry I don't have the answer to the bracket question, but I can tell you the option 430 was not available in combination with certain other options, should that information be of interest when replacing them.

Source the Carrera RS Ordering Procedure document among my RS's papers that instructed how to place the order punched card and conversion order or separate letter.

Thanks, Hugh. The photos are great; we should now be able to duplicate these brackets, if needed. And what I wouldn't give to have a purple RS like that!

I know what you mean about the recollections - I'm always losing the odd decade here and there.

And Thanks for the RS ordering procedure document - interesting stuff.
