FS: Blaupunkt Audio Tape (aka Hens Teeth)

    SOLD...

Found this inside my cars center console, inside a cassette box.

I have never seen one and wasn't able to find anything here or on 911 Registry. It's unobtainium

My assumption is that it was an audio testing tape that came with radios

$250 and I will cover shipping and paypal fees.

Isn't that just a blank recording tape from back in the day and you would title each side A & B as you recorded something?

That's what it looks like but I'm not an expert by any means. Not to be rude honestly, but doesn't that seem a bit steep for an old tape?

Again, not an expert, but most early 911's had radios only and at best some form of 8-track player that attached to the back. You've obviously decided this is some form of rare early 911 part, which is really doubtful, and priced at what's perceived as a fair price.

I honestly haven't a clue what it is. I even checked with a old school registry guy who has been here since the beginning and he didn't know.

I get raped on parts CONSTANTLY. The prices I have paid for parts for my cars is disguising. If anyone must have this, they are welcome to it. Sure it's steep but then again, so are sport seats, early whale tails, date match fuchs, tool kits and so on. I hear you and get you but it is what it is.

It's actually already sold so I wonder if the price was even too low....

The previous owner of my car had a different taste in music as my tape is of Barry Manilo.

Agreed, but not on a old blank Blaupunkt cassette tape! OK, who wants to admit that they bought this?
